I have a huge craft show coming up this weekend. Comfest, Columbus' biggest festival, runs from Friday through Monday. It has at least five music stages, loads of vendors and food, and all kinds of non-profit groups. This year, I'll be among the vendors! I applied as part of EtsyColumbus, so, really, the booth will be shared by nine of us. I'll be there on Saturday and Sunday. I have to work at my regular job on Friday. I could probably sell on Friday night, but I think I'll need to rest up for the weekend. Anyway, to promote my business to the festival attendees, I decided to try my hand at the matchbook notebooks that seem to be so popular. Since I used to make notecards, I have a lot of card-making supplies just sitting around so it isn't going to cost me any money--just time. I found a great tutorial. I'm definitely happy with the result!
On a totally different subject, it turns out that the "untouched tribe" photo was a hoax. However, it is still interesting to note that anthropologists do indicate that there ARE untouched tribes out there. Even if this one wasn't, it's still mindblowing to think that there are.

Best of luck on Comfest! That event is one of the things I really miss about living in Columbus.
