Untouched tribes
Many of you probably saw the news about the "untouched" tribe that was discovered in the Peruvian portion of the Amazon jungle. By "untouched," the experts mean that these people have had no contact with the outside world. Apparently, there are over 100 tribes that remain untouched, and most of these are located in Brazil or Peru. This blows my mind! We humans have reproduced and reproduced until we're basically crawling over tremendous expanses of land like an infestation. As such, the fact that 100+ tribes can exist for unknown decades without coming into contact with anyone else is just astounding. To get the above photo, a small aircraft had to hover over the settlement. As you can see, warriors have their bows and arrows pointed at the sky, ready to fire at the aircraft. This makes me wonder what the tribe believes the aircraft to be. Somewhere, right now, deep in the rainforest, this tribe is going forward with their lives. Are they incorporating the aircraft into their religion? Do they believe it to be a god? An alien? Given the amount of travel in today's society, is it even possible that any of the 100+ untouched tribes have never seen a plane? It's so hard to wrap my head around the whole thing!

that is interesting... Or maybe they think they are being invaded or something. Nice blog, btw. :D
